I joined the podcast train a little late but once I started tuning in, I never looked back! Historically my commute to and from work has been anywhere from 10-30 minutes which is the perfect time for me to ride and listen to my favorite podcasts during the week. It’s definitely a form of self care for me.
My top 4 Podcast Picks consistently exceed my expectations in terms of added value. They also keep my attention and cause me to reflect on a regular basis on what I can do to grow in various areas of my life. Read about each podcast below and stick around for an update at the end.
Pick #1
Joyce Meyer’s Talk It Out Podcast
I honestly feel like I’m in a room with my good girlfriends talking about life and all that comes with it when I listen to this podcast. I love the balance of Scriptural and practical insight and I always walk away with more clarity to apply to my own journey.
Pick #2
The Christy Wright Show
I learned about Christy Wright from a fellow mompreneur and when I found out she had a podcast, I had to give a listen. It never disappoints. I love how the show is broken into segments with Christy offering extremely sound advice for everything from Marriage, Motherhood, Relationships, Business, honestly you name it. She is so full of energy and she’s extremely relatable.
Pick #3
Redefining Wealth
Patrice Washington hosts this gem of a podcast that flips the definition of wealth on its head. Patrice is a straight shooter which I love. She brings a vast array of guests to the podcast from diverse backgrounds for enriching conversations.
Pick #4
Side Hustle Pro
I love to hear how other Women bet on themselves in business and this podcast offers that and more. Nicaila Matthews Okome is the perfect host as she built her side hustle from the ground up to become a full time entrepreneur. Her story is inspiring but she also keeps it real about the day-to-day ups and downs of entrepreneurship. She consistently brings other Women of Color in Business to the table in a way that amplifies their individual journey.
And while we are on the subject of Podcasts, I’m so grateful to everyone that has listened to the The Daily Becoming Podcast! It was created for us, the Everyday Woman and I hope that each episode meets you where you are, provides insight and maybe even some practical or scriptural advice to help you along your journey of becoming. I am sharing more on Episode 8 so thank you for tuning in, leaving a review, and don’t forget to tell a friend!
