Day 1: Thanksgiving/Fresh Start

Father God I come before you with Praise and Thanksgiving for creating me in your image. I thank you for sending Jesus to deliver me from my sins and I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I know that I am a reflection of your grace and that I am a recipient of your mercies which are new everyday. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Thank you for allowing me to see another year. I thank you that the obstacles that were sent to defeat me in 2021 became defining moments. I thank you for revealing yourself to me through the ups and downs. I am so thankful for your unfailing love. Help me to grow in my awareness of your presence this year. Increase my faith and help my unbelief.

I know that you will guide me this year. I know that the overlapping challenges or problems from last year will continue to draw me closer to you. I thank you that you will strengthen me. You will send help. You will identify necessary resources. I will see your goodness and you will be glorified.

Thank you for giving me another opportunity to live for you. I thank you that your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven in my life.

I’m Jesus’ name,

Amen

Day 2: Direction

Father God I submit this year to you. Not my will but yours be done. I come seeking your guidance for my life. Help me to trust in you with all of my heart and not to lean to my own understanding.

Heavenly Father you know what’s best. I know that you have planted goals, dreams, and visions in me to help advance your kingdom. I pray that your desires will be fulfilled in me.

Help me to stay focused. Help me to prioritize time in the Word. Help me to be intentional about spending time in prayer so that I can hear you speaking to me. Sharpen my ear. Block out every distraction. Give me a desire for more of you.

Thank you for helping me to take action accordingly. I know that doors will be open for me this year. Help me to accept the doors that must close. I trust you Father.

Thank you for hearing my prayer.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Day 3: Wisdom

Father God I thank you for giving me the mind of Christ. I humble myself today and ask that you will give me wisdom.

I know that every good and perfect gift comes from you. I thank you for the wisdom that comes from above. I thank you for making me sensitive to the things of the Spirit.

Help me not to move ahead of you this year. Give me the wisdom to know that your timing is best. Help me to acknowledge that your thoughts and your ways are higher than mine. Again, I ask that you will help me to trust you.

Help me to walk wisely by staying connected to you through time in the word and prayer. Help me not to diminish your power and authority through impulsivity. I place my life in your hands.

Thank you for giving me the wisdom to become who you’ve created me to be.

Day 4: Peace

Heavenly Father thank you for peace. I know that you aren’t the author of confusion. You sacrificed your only son, Jesus so that I could walk in peace in every area of my life. I claim the peace that belongs to me as a child of God.

I reject doubt, worry, anxiety, fear, and anything else that would seek to destroy the peace that you promised in your Word.

While I may be faced with many things that run counter to experiencing peace, I know that you are still with me. You said that we would have trouble but I choose to “take heart” because I know that you are with me.

Father God I ask that you would reveal to me the peace stealers in my life. I thank you for the courage to address them with your help. Give me a heart to do your will.

Peace belongs to me in Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Day 5: Courage

Heavenly Father thank you for giving me a courageous spirit. I thank you that you will help me to live boldly for you.

You have not given me a spirit of fear so I will take courage in every area of my life. You have already gone before. I don’t have any reason to fear.

You will calm every storm. You will part every sea. You are my refuge. You are my strength. You are my strong tower. You are my shepherd. I will run to you and you will hide me.

Your name is above every name. All power and authority belongs to you. I will plug in to this power and walk boldly. Every place that my feet shall tread has already been given to me.

Thank you for making me brave in Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Day 6: Strength of Character & Conviction

Father God I thank you for helping me to stand firm in my faith this year. Help me to build my life on the solid foundation of your Word. Help me to be all in for your glory. Give me a burning passion for more of you.

Give me the courage to go against the tide. Help me not to blend in with the crowd. I pray that you will help me to be walk according to the Spirit. I pray that others will see the difference in me and that my lifestyle will point to your goodness, your mercy, and your grace.

I ask that you will help me to bear good fruit. Help me to grow in faith, patience, love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self control! Help me to follow the leading of the Spirit. Help me to die daily to selfish tendencies.

Father I thank you that I don't have to walk this path on my own. I thank you for equipping me. Thank you for giving me a renewed sense of purpose. I want to lift you up so that others will be drawn to you.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Day 7: Joy

Father God I thank you that you are my joy. My hope is in you. Help me to know that even when my circumstances change you will remain the same. I can rely on your unfailing love.

Help me to choose joy. Help me to understand that challenges are designed to draw me closer to you and to refine my character. I know that the joy that you give cannot be taken away. I will cling to your promises. Help me to submit to your will because you know what is best for me.

I thank you that the joy that you give cannot be taken away. Help me not to base my happiness in earthly things which will fade away. Help me to rely on you. It is your joy that gives me strength.

Thank you for joy unspeakable in Jesus name I pray, amen.
